The houses
The luxury of simplicity
NUBE is about trading the superfluous for the essential. The cave houses are carved into beautiful rock on the edge of the hill Freila is built on, with 270° views over olive groves, ravines and the azure waters of the lake.
Several terraces with seating areas, barbecues and fireplaces for dining outdoors. Woodsmoke in the evening, silence in the morning. The rock keeps the inside at 18–20 °C all year round, with no air conditioning.
A true retreat without being isolated: bakery, butcher, supermarket and restaurants are 300 m away. Ideal for families, groups of friends, retreats and quiet seminars.

Eleven double bedrooms, carved by hand
Every bedroom is a white, hand-carved cave with a double bed. Thick rock walls keep it cool in summer, mild in winter and very quiet at night.

NUBE sits below the church of Freila, a village of about a thousand people known for its warm welcome and generous food. Red-clay canyons, cave villages and a 20 km turquoise lake surround it.
